“Durga kills evil named mahishashur who is having apart that no person can kill him. On the ninth day only a female can kill him.. only a female can kill the evil one.”
Is this love and the feminine triumphing over the violence and war of the masculine? If only for one battle? Yet a battle celebrated every year for hundreds of years.
We will appreciate all the battles won by women when we may. Especially in these trying times.
Even my small battles to make the most beautiful products, eco and ethically responsible. With people who would try to dilute and compromise my vision. Some times manufacturers don’t understand why you don’t use pvc.. or formaldehyde or why they must pass GOTS certification in order for me to do business with them. Or most mportantly why they must use fair trade labor standards.Someone yelled at me today “These are my employees. You can not tell me how many hours they can work!” No I can not ... but I will not buy from you if you do not meet these standards. So many days are so many battles. Today I won! Not just for me, but for the employees and the earth that would have received toxic ground water poisoning and the consumers who react to so many chemicals. Today I won. I feel strong like the moon tonight... I feel the drums travel thru the moonlight into my heart.
To all the eco cars I loved before...my shower songs
“To all the Eco Cars I loved before." from my shower songs... Anna in 2006 with her families bio diesel truck and bio diesel Mercedes. Words by Anna Walker. Music by "To all the girls I loved before" Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias. You are so blessed you can not hear me sing it. This song will sound much better in the voice between your ears.. To all the eco cars I loved before. I squeezed my legs between their doors. How far they've come along. They're growing much more strong. To all the eco cars I loved before. My bio diesel's and their tanks of grease. They gave me great environmental peace. They rattled and they chugged. They smelled of french fries and brought bugs. My Mercedes and Ford pickup conversation piece. The winds of change are always blowing. And again I trade away. My BMW electric showing.. a lack of range that shocks today. To hybrid cars I once possessed. My Prius and my Volt were best. Unti
